The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is an autonomous R&D institute under Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is engaged in frontier areas of research in specific domain of Physical, Chemical Mathematical and Life Sciences. The institute invites applications against the available vacancies (2022-2023) for short term internship (2 months) and project dissertation/training (6 months initially, which may be extended for another 6 months subject to satisfactory progress in the project under guidance of faculty members of IASST).
Duration of Internship:
- At least 2 months for internship and 6 months for project dissertation.
- The internship programme will start in December 2022 and the dissertation/training from January 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.Sc. in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioengineering/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ Nanoscience/ Nanotechnology.
- M. Pharm/ M.S. Pharm.
- B. Tech/ M. Tech/ M.Sc. in Physics/ Biophysics/ Chemistry/ Material Science & Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering.
- BE/ B. Tech/ Masters in IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ EEE.
- M.Sc. in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Mathematics & Computing.
